Drops

RuneSpawn shows every drop table in game, so you can check a monster’s loot before you start a trip. This page covers how to find drops and the parts of looting that work differently here. For the standard Old School tables, see the OSRS Wiki.

Vanilla monster drop tables and rates are on the Old School RuneScape Wiki. Use the in-game drop viewer to see what RuneSpawn actually gives.

The drop viewer

The drop viewer lists the drop table of every monster on the server. You can search by monster or by item, so it also tells you which monsters drop the item you want.

You can open it in several ways:

  • Type ::drops in the chatbox. ::drop, ::dropviewer, ::dropsviewer, ::droplist and ::dropslist do the same thing.
  • Click the Drop viewer button in the journal.
  • Turn on Examine drop viewer in your settings. Examining a monster then opens its drop table.

The command asks which viewer you want. The journal button opens the monster and item viewer straight away.

  • NPC/Item Drops searches monsters and items.
  • Table Drops shows tables that do not belong to a single monster.

Reading the viewer

Each row shows the item, the quantity (or a range) and how often it drops. Rows can be sorted by drop rate, quantity or name.

Rates in the viewer already include your current drop rate bonus. The settings in the viewer let you:

  • show rates as fractions instead of percentages
  • preview the rates for a different membership rank
  • turn the Voter’s Blessing, Felix felicis and Well of Goodwill bonuses on or off, to see what the table looks like with or without them

Drop rate bonus

Many things on RuneSpawn raise your drop rate. Type ::droprate (or ::dr) to see your total bonus and the amount from each source that is active.

The bonus makes the rarer drops on a table more likely. Drops marked Always are not affected.

Sources with a fixed amount:

SourceBonusNotes
Well of Goodwill10%While the Drop Rate Boost world perk is active
Drop rate booster scroll5%Lasts one hour of play time
Voter’s Blessing5%Each confirmed vote adds 6 hours, up to 12 hours left
Felix felicis5%Potion
Lady Luck5%Boon
Fortune’s Favor5%Vote board milestone

Other sources depend on your account: your membership rank (see Ranks), your game mode, your clan’s perks, Combat Achievements rewards and being a Discord booster. Bonuses from different sources add together. ::droprate always shows the amounts that apply to you right now.

Loot on a regular account

On a regular account, many common drops are paid out as coins instead of the item. Uniques, pets, collection log items, clue scrolls, bones and keys stay as items, along with a list of other useful items such as many runes. Ironman and league accounts always get the original item.

The drop viewer shows what a regular account receives, so it shows coins on rows that convert.
